Eden Stream Foundation conducts health campaigns aimed at reaching underserved communities in Burundi, focusing on raising awareness about major public health issues and improving access to the specialized public and private healthcare services through a range of advocacy, preventive and referral services on mental health, Birth Planning, HIV, Drugs Abuse, Cancer, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Diabetics, Cardiovascular diseases, Malaria, Malnutrition and Gender Based Violence.
What we do?
- Conducting community campaigns for sensitizing on health challenges such mental health, Birth Planning, HIV, Drugs Abuse, Cancer, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Diabetics, Cardiovascular diseases, Malaria, Malnutrition and Gender Based Violence as to better prevent and understand the specialized health structures for curative treatment in the country through referral mechanism.
- Conducting rapid screening for sick cases investigating and responding to referrals.
- Collecting and sharing data from the specialized health structures data to inform public health decision makers and communities on the treated cases or transferred abroad in last six months.
- Working with international organizations, governments, and NGOs to address global health challenges.
